EAST BOSTON - Kevin Edward Grady passed away unexpectedly after suffering a heart attack on Friday, February 15, 2019. Kevin was born on February 23, 1953 in Syracuse, NY, the eldest son of Joanne Grady Chamberlain and Joseph J. Grady Jr. Kevin attended St. Anne's School and Christian Brothers Academy in Syracuse where he was an accomplished student athlete. Kevin enjoyed an active youth playing team sports, golfing and spending time skiing with family at their winter home in Sugarbush, VT.

Kevin attended the University of Vermont and after graduating in 1975 moved to New York City where he embarked on a successful lifetime career as a stockbroker. NYC was Kevin's home for many years until he moved to Marblehead, Massachusetts to be closer to family. Kevin continued his career as a stockbroker in Boston until he retired in 2017. He dedicated his last years to caring for his mother.

Kevin was preceded in death by his father, Joseph J. Grady Jr. He is survived by his mother, Joanne Grady Chamberlain of Beverly, MA and all of his siblings; Joseph J. "Sean" Grady III, Neile Grady Martin (Steven) of Winchester, VA; Mark C. Grady (Patricia) of Marblehead, MA, and Shane G. "Jerry" Grady (Kathleen) of Arlington, MA, and his beloved nieces and nephews Erin, Christopher, Maggie, Patrick, Maura, Emma, Georgia and Owen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Kevin's name to Boston Children's Hospital Trust. There will be a Funeral Mass held at 11:00 AM, on Saturday, February 23 at Our Lady, Star of the Sea Parish at 85 Atlantic Avenue, Marblehead, MA 01945.
