Obituary

Kenneth "Kenny" Edward McCreedy, 68, passed away peacefully on April 28, 2026 at Anna Jaques Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was survived by his children, his daughter, Angela M. McCreedy of Revere, MA and his son, Kenneth W. McCreedy, his two grandsons, Joshua Burdick of Concord, NH and Justyn Burdick of Billerica, MA, his sister Marilyn Lupi and her husband, Edward Lupi of Lynnfield, MA, his brother Thomas McCreedy and his wife Patricia McCreedy of Templeton, MA, his sister Darlene Matton of Bradford, MA, his brother Richard McCreedy and his longtime companion, Robin Thomas of Quincy, MA, as well as many nieces and nephews. If you knew Kenny you knew a man full of love. A devoted grandfather, father, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Nothing brought him more joy than being with his family. From a young age, Kenny enjoyed the sport of fishing. Whether it was in a small pond or deep sea fishing in Maine, he loved it all. He also loved to cook and regarded his time working at Hilltop Steakhouse with great fondness. Later in life, he worked at Market Basket where he delighted in getting to meet new people and make lifelong friendships. Kenny was one of the lucky ones and had the great privilege of falling in love and spending nearly four decades with the love of his life, Ann. His grandchildren, nieces, and nephews will always remember how he made them laugh with delight at his bird songs. We will all remember him for his love, joy, and light. He will be missed terribly. Visitation will be held on Satuday, May 2, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Words of Remembrance beginning at 3:00 PM.
