HAVERHILL - Kenneth A. Kancavicus, 71, lifelong Haverhill resident, passed away on October 11, 2023.

Kenny was the son of the late John A. and Eleanor (Klimas) Kancavicus.

Kenny was a certified mechanic by trade. Later in life, he proudly earned his Associate's Degree in Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counseling with Honors as a graduate of Northern Essex Community College.

He was a NASCAR enthusiast, loved tinkering with cars and anything related to racing. Kenny worked on a pit crew at Loudon Raceway (NH) in his younger days.

Kenny leaves behind his son Jamie and granddaughter Lily Butterfly of CA, his brother John R. (Jake) Kancavicus and his wife Sandra of TX, his sister Valerie Jaskelevicus of MA, his sister Kristine Hale and her husband Gerald of PA, sister Kathleen Knight and her husband Phillip of NJ, many cousins, nieces and nephews, and was pre-deceased by his brother-in-law Stephen A. Jaskelevicus.

A special thank you to his guardian angels on earth - Carmen Salvador and Nancy Clark - for their caring dedication, support and friendship.

Funeral services will be private. At the request of Kenny's family, in lieu of flowers, please consider doing a random act of kindness in his memory.
