GEORGETOWN - Kenneth Charles Field, 91, died peacefully at Anna Jaques Hospital on March 15, 2021. Resident for 56 years of Georgetown, he had lived the past 11 years at Nichols Village in Groveland.

Dr. Field was born in Devon, CT, on November 19, 1929, the son of Kenneth Ross and Evelyn (Williams) Field. He graduated from the Massachusetts School of Optometry in 1955 and practiced optometry for 40 years in Georgetown and Ipswich.

He leaves his wife of 66 years, Marcia Jane (Zendt) Field; three daughters, Marcia Anne (Field) Kessler and husband Robert Kessler; Elizabeth Thayer (Field) Pino and husband Kenneth and Caroline Bradford (Field) Roberts; three grandchildren, Jerzy Alexander Kessler and wife, Shilpi (Das); Nathaniel Field Kessler and Emma Ainslie Roberts and partner Mohamad Barham.
