HAVERHILL - Kelley (Ivers) Laird passed from this life to her eternal home on Sunday morning June 3rd, 2018. She was 57 years old. Kelley was born on December 10, 1960 in Methuen to her parents James and Leona Ivers. She was the youngest of five children. She attended Methuen schools and went on to enjoy a career as a care-giver at Presentation of Mary Home for retired nuns, and several other nursing homes.

Kelley had a deep love for her family and enjoyed sharing laughs in the company of friends and loved ones. She enjoyed visits to Walt Disney World and had a passion for reading, classic movies, and creative writing. Her recent hobby was tracing family ancestry and uncovering details about her family's roots. Thanks to Kelley's genealogical research, her discoveries can be passed on to future generations.

Kelley closely followed politics and was not shy about sharing her views. She will be remembered by all who knew her as a godly woman with a deep love for her family and even deeper love for her Savior, Jesus Christ. Kelley had a vivacious sense of humor, a zeal for life, and a boundless love for her daughter Kirah.

Kelley was preceded by her parents, James and Leona Ivers and her sister Yvonne Johnson. She is survived by her daughter Kirah Laird, her brother William Ivers, her sisters Debra Levesque and Angie Slater, and several nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 15 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the New Life Christian Assembly of God Church, 966 Main Street, Haverhill. In lieu of flowers, we ask for any donations to the family or the Polycystic Kidney Foundation.
