HAVERHILL - It is with great sadness that the family of Katherine R. Barberio, 94, of Haverhill announces her passing at her home on Monday, April 1. She was born in Haverhill to Italian immigrants, Nicola and Angelina Barberio, and was the youngest of seven children.

Her passion in life was her family, summer gatherings and holidays at her home were always an event. Known as 'Kitty' to anyone who knew her, she was a selfless individual who opened her heart and home to anyone who needed her. We will miss her open heart, kindness, wisdom and love.

She is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 6, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from  9:00 to 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill at 10:30 AM. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, N. Broadway, Haverhill.
