AMESBURY: Katharine M. Murphy, formerly of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2024 at Maplewood Nursing Center following a lengthy illness.

Katharine was born in Beverly, MA on January 24, 1953.

Katharine was an artist and painter. She was an original influencer, and everyone who knew Katharine considered her one of their best friends. She created a safe space for people to laugh, heal, shine, or just BE. She made an impact, leaving a bit of real, or energetic glitter in her wake.

Katharine is survived by her brothers Daniel and Peter, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

It was Katharine's desire to participate in the Anatomical Gift Program at Harvard University.
