Karen C. (Crook) Tabberrah, 64, passed away on December 28, 2017 at Beverly Hospital. She was the wife of John H. Tabberrah who passed away in 2009.
Born in Boston on October 1, 1953, she was the daughter of Herbert C. and Patricia (MacKinnon) Crook.
Karen graduated from Haverhill High School, Class of 1971. She continued her education at Northern Essex Community College before attending Boston University School of Fine Arts as a voice performance major. Karen worked as an electrical assembler for various manufacturers, and was a member of the first group in the state to be certified as a Home Health Aid professional.
Besides her parents, Karen is survived by her brother, Kevin Held; nephew, Alex Held, both of Marsfield, and niece, Kira Held of Montana. Messages of condolence may be sent to www.dcsfuneralhome.com
