HAVERHILL - Julio W. Joubert, Sr., 90, longtime Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 26, and joined his beloved wife in Heaven.

He was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico and moved to Haverhill in 1969. He retired from Lucent Technology and began enjoying activities such as playing bingo at the Haverhill Citizens Center and listening to music from his generation and singing with his brother, Joe. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

Julio is survived by his sons, Julio Jr. and his longtime partner Karen, Jose and his wife Migdalia and his beloved daughter Maria; also by thirteen cherished grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

Vistiation will be held on Monday morning, October 2, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 9:00 to 11:30 AM. Services will begin at 11:30 AM. Interement will follow in St. James Cemetery, Haverhill. For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
