MONT VERNON, NH: Julia A. Adams, 86, formerly of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2018 while surrounded by her family at Highpoint House in Haverhill.
Born in Newburyport on January 22, 1932, she was the daughter of the late William and Agnes (Coffee) Leavitt.
Early in her career Julia worked as a stitcher in Haverhill's shoe industry for ten years before remaining home to raise her family. Julia's devotion to her husband, and to her family, was the focus of her life.
The last of four children, Julia is survived by her son, Stephen Adams and his wife Kim of Irving, MA, daughter, Julia K. Bolinsky and her husband Mark of Mont Vernon, NH; grandchildren, Michael, Olivia and Hannah.
