HAVERHILL: Judith Noyes, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2024 at Ivy Hill Court.

Born in Haverhill on November 18, 1935, Judith was the daughter of the late Harlan S. Noyes and Harriet (Beatty) Noyes.

Judith graduated from Haverhill High School, Class of 1953. She attended Bradford Junior College, then worked for one year at an insurance company in Boston before continuing her education at Tufts University where she majored in psychology and education, graduating in 1958.

Starting in September 1958, Judith began a long and devoted teaching career spanning forty-three years as a second and third grade teacher at Walnut Square School, retiring in June of 2001.

Judith is survived by nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Raymond I. Noyes and Alden T. Noyes.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at 11:00a.m., at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill followed with interment at Linwood Cemetery.
