Haverhill: Judith V. (Ambrose) Lawton, 76, passed away at her home on February 27, 2016. Mrs. Lawton was the wife of the late Donald L. Lawton.

Born in Beverly on August 16, 1939, Mrs. Lawton was the daughter of the late William E. and Mary Kate (Marren) Ambrose.

Mrs. Lawton was educated in Beverly and graduated from Beverly High School. She worked for First National Supermarket, where she met her husband, and as a school cafeteria worker in North Andover.

Mrs. Lawton is survived by her daughter, Mary P. Richardson of Beverly; step-sons, Donald A. Lawton and Gary B. Lawton.
