NORTH ANDOVER: Joyce M. Johnson, 88, passed away on December 21, 2022 at High Pointe House in Haverhill.

Born in Haverhill on September 8, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Ernest R. and Inez M. (Patten) LeBlanc.

Joyce was predeceased by her husband Arthur in 2001. The youngest of five children, she is survived by her sisters, Marguerite Vizard of Haverhill, and Geraldine Phillips of NJ, and many nieces, nephews, and their children. Joyce was predeceased by her sisters, Ernestine (Sandy) Blanchette and Gloria Fisher.

Joyce and her husband Arthur traveled extensively to many Caribbean Islands, Hawaii, Africa, Alaska, Newfoundland, Labrador, and Europe. She was a former member of, and traveled with, the Appalachain Mountain Club. Joyce was an avid gardener and reader, and belonged to the Haverhill Garden Club, the Herb Society, and the Merrimack Valley Bird Club.

Joyce worked for the former Western Electric Company that later became AT&T and then Lucent Technologies and retired after thirty years as a Production Analyst.

While vacationing in Naples, FL with her sister, Joyce met her second love Roland Bullion. They spent many winters in Naples, FL, and later made their permanent home in North Andover.
