HAVERHILL - Joseph West, 33 of Haverhill, passed away on June 9, 2018.

Joseph was born in Haverhill son of John McCarthy and Gail (West) Grina on October 6,1984. He was raised in Rochester, NH. He worked as a paperboy for Foster Daily Democrat for 4 years and then went on to be a construction worker. Joseph is preceded in death by his father John McCarthy. Joseph is survived by his 2 daughters and 2 sons, his mother Gail (West) Grina, his sister Jennifer (West) Leary and her husband John Leary, III, and a brother Daniel McCarthy, maternal grandmother Rita (Davis) West. Joseph enjoyed ATV riding, fishing and hunting. He also loved to cook. Joe was a jack of all trades he enjoyed fixing, making and building things. He had a passion for working on small engines. Joe's greatest achievements were his children as he loved them dearly. Joe had a huge heart and loved with all he could. He will be deeply missed by all whose lives he touched.

Celebration of Joe's life will be held on Saturday, June 30 beginning at 2:00 PM at 85 Kenoza Street, Haverhill, MA 01830. Family and Friends are welcomed.
