PATRAIKO, John of Weston, passed away on Feb. 7, 2015. He was born on Jan. 6, 1924 in Yonkers, NY to immigrant parents. Like so many of that era, he grew up in poverty and became a self-made man.

Those who knew John well understood that he was defined by intelligence, tenacity, and an insatiable quest for knowledge.

John married and moved to Weston in the early 60's where he raised his children and resided for the remainder of his life. John is survived by his brother, Joseph; his children, Susan, David, and Barry; and his seven cherished grandchildren.
