GROVELAND - John J. Martin, 61, of Groveland, MA, entered enteral life on February 13, 2021 at home surrounded by family, after a courageous battle with an illness.

John was born on October 25,1959 to the late Richard Martin and Grace (Thibault) Martin.  John was educated in Haverhill, a graduate of HHS class of 77 and was a member of the original Haverhill Boxing Club.  He later earned a degree in Business Law, before moving to Sanford, FL for many years.  John had a fun witty personality, he was always known for a good story and made friends wherever he went. He volunteered for many organizations and groups in Sanford, FL, and enjoyed coaching little league.

John is survived by his beloved daughter Meriah Martin and her partner Jarred Sullivan of Haverhill, MA; seven siblings, sisters Donnamarie Reid of Bradford, MA ,Bonnie Martin of Groveland, MA, brothers Richard Martin of NH, Robert Martin of Leicester, MA, Thomas and his wife Patricia Martin of Haverhill MA, William Martin of Haverhill, MA and Frederick and wife Jennifer Martin of Haverhill, MA. He also leaves behind Amanda Marie Diaz of Sanford, FL and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
