Obituary

SALEM, NH - John P. "Jack" Curtin, 70, of Salem, NH, passed away peacefully after a short bout with cancer on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston.

Jack was born in Newburyport to James and Marguerite (Murphy) Curtin. He is survived by his wife Sharon of Salem, NH, son Patrick, stepsons Jay Poole of Charlestown and Rick Theberge of Salem, NH and his close cousins Mary and Ray Hutchings of Georgia.

Jack served in the Navy, was a boxer in his younger years and worked for Gillette before retiring. He was a passionate fan of sports and loved to watch horse racing. He will be missed by many including his good friend of 40 plus years, Ziggy. Please join his family for a celebration of Jack's life, held on Saturday, April 16 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM at the British Club, 80 Cambridge Street, Lawrence.
