WETHERSFIELD, CT: John Ara Adamian, 70, passed away on April 24, 2023 at Manchester Memorial Hospital in Manchester, CT due to complications of COVID-19.

Born in Cambridge, MA on May 31, 1952, he was the son of the late John J. and Varsanie (Chooljian) Adamian.

John resided in Arlington, MA until his high school graduation as class valedictorian. He subsequently attended Ithaca College, graduating summa cum laude, and was accepted to Georgetown Law School. John was active in church and government organizations in Vernon and Wethersfield, CT, and sat on various committees. He was a diehard Republican, deep conversationalist and like being the center of attention. He also enjoyed the simple things in life; country music, movies, fairs, long walks, and had a quirky sense of humor that made you smile.

John is survived by his brother, Donald Adamian of Arlington, MA, an aunt, and several cousins.

Funeral arrangements under the direction of Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main St., Haverhill, and interment at Linwood Cemetery, will be private.
