HAVERHILL - Joanne K. (Hackett) Sweeney, 48, of Wilmington and longtime Haverhill resident, passed away on Thursday, December 30.

She was born in Lowell on May 11, 1973, daughter of Robert and Ann (O'Donnell) Hackett. Raised in Haverhill and graduate of Haverhill High School class of 1991.

Joanne worked as a tax specialist. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family and she will be deeply missed.

Surviving family members include her parents Bob and Ann Hackett of Haverhill; children Samantha Taylor and significant other Zachery of Haverhill, Patrick Sweeney and significant other Brooke Gerry of Wilmington, Kevin Sweeney of Wilmington and Gemma Sweeney of Wilmington; siblings Catherine Mercier and significant other Michael of Revere and Robin Parker and significant other of Chris of Weare, NH; nieces and nephews Kaitlin Jon and Jackson Goodman, Michael Mercier Taegue, Amber, Julia Chandler and Lillian; grandchildren Elyzabeth and Robert Taylor.
