HAVERHILL - Jeannie A. (Hutchinson) Thompson, 62, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 3, 2022, peacefully with her family by her side.

Jeannie was born and raised in Haverhill and was the beloved daughter of the late James and Claire J. (Paul) Hutchinson. She was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her loving sister, brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

She touched many lives over the years while working in the healthcare field. Anyone who was fortunate enough to have met her, knew she was a good listener and always offered needed advice and guidance. During the summer, Jeannie enjoyed spending time in the sun with her family, whether at the beach or poolside. She loved to shop and crochet. Her favorite pastime, however, was spending time with her grandchildren.

Jeannie is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, David W. Thompson Sr.; children David W. Thompson Jr. and wife Patricia, Danielle C. Thompson and significant other Lee Berthel and Sarah A. Jendrick and husband James; and her grandchildren Noah, Adam, Jay, Chloe, Gabriella, Leah and Brody; also survived by her siblings Michael Hutchinson and wife Jean, John Hutchinson, Don Hutchinson and wife Wendy, Diane Busi and husband Robert; brothers in-law Mickey Thompson and Kevin Thompson; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and best friend Deborah Forte. Jeannie will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her and the lives she touched, until we meet again.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 8, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Services will be Friday in the funeral home beginning at 10:30 AM.
