HAVERHILL - Jason P. Romano, 41 passed away peacefully in his sleep on January 20, 2022 at home in Haverhill, MA.

Born in Danvers, Jason is the son of Kathy A. Romano of Methuen and Paul Romano of Haverhill.  Raised in Haverhill he was a graduate of Brooks School, Class of 1998.  He attended Trinity College in Hartford, CT.

Jason worked for Bradford Country Club in Bradford, MA as a Greenskeeper.  He loved all sports, wish it was New England Teams, but as we all know, Jay was a lifelong Detroit Red Wings fan.

He had so much love for people, especially his mother, Kathy and beloved, Dana. Jay was so full of life and touched more people in his short time with us than most do in a full lifetime.  Anyone who met Jason whether it was just once or those he formed a bond with instantly loved him. Jason lit up any room.

Jason was passionate about life whether it was golfing, playing cards, Golden Tee or Bowling.  Always smiling, playful and silly, Jason loved to make others laugh and feel good. He would do anything for his friends and family.

Jason is survived by his mother, Kathy A. Romano; father, Paul Romano; girlfriend, Dana McNamara and her daughter, Elise Maher; and family and friends.

However you knew him; Jay, Jason, Jaycee bobo, JPR, Oswald B., Jabar, or even just Romano, each of us has our own special memories of him.  Jason would want you to remember him this way. He will forever be loved and missed.

Visitaiton will be held on Friday, January 28, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 3:00 to 6:00 PM. Reception will follow at Smith's Tavern, 124 Essex Street, Haverhill, MA.
