HAVERHILL - James A. Wezesa, 71, passed away peacefully on Saturday morning, March 21, 2015 at The Oxford, Haverhill.

James was born in Haverhill on May 19, 1943, son of the late Joseph and Helen (Barron) Wezesa. He was educated in Haverhill Schools.

Devoted husband of Joyce (Leeman) Wezesa, whom they have shared 53 years of marriage. They met at a Valentines Dance and have not been apart since. He was a lifelong resident of Haverhill and worked for the Brown Counter Shoe Factory and then for Bill Deluca as a mechanic technician until his retirement in 2003.

James received the most amount of pleasure spending time with his family and friends especially at their Camp in Alton, NH. He will be greatly missed by all that loved him.

The Wezesa family would like to thank Mert and Pat Howard for their great friendship over the years, and the love and support they gave to James prior to his passing.

His surviving family members in addition to his wife include his loving children, Scott Wezesa of Haverhill, Deborah Wezesa of Derry, NH and Karen Wezesa of Haverhill; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends; father of the late James A. Wezesa, Jr.
