James “Jim” R. Webster, cherished son of Heather (Campbell) Lunt and Michael Lunt, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2026, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by the family who loved him deeply.

Jim was born on January 7, 1971, at Fort Devens in Ayer, MA. Full of energy as a child, he grew up in Beverly, MA, where he spent many happy years playing baseball, soccer, and lacrosse. Jim found joy in life’s simple pleasures: Sunday softball with the BVDs, watching sports, making pottery and birdhouses, playing cribbage and video games, and settling in for a good movie. He also gave his time to Animal Rescue and had a lifelong love for animals.

During the past four years, Jim lived with family, where he was surrounded by everyday moments that brought him comfort and happiness. Along with his loving parents, Jim is survived by his sisters and brothers-in-law, Erin and Ken Long of Haverhill and Susan and Jay Martel of Haverhill; his brother, Tim Morris of Wakefield, MA, by his nieces and nephews, Megan Carroll of Cambridge, MA, Tyler Carroll of Boston, MA, Ella Carroll of Haverhill, Emily Long of Whitman, MA, Megan Long of Haverhill, and Rowan and Ceiran Martel of Haverhill; by his aunts and uncles, Mare Campbell-York and Ron York of Portsmouth, NH, Sister Shirley Anne Campbell of Chicopee Falls, MA, Catherine Neumann of Easthampton, MA, William and Tracey Campbell of Beverly, MA, Monica Williams of Middletown, NY, Andrea Stout of Middletown, NY, Glenn Lunt of Marblehead, MA,, Jeanine Baldwin of Evans, Georgia; and many cousins.
