Obituary

HAVERHILL - James A. Tuccolo, Jr., 77, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 23, while at home surrounded by his loving family.

Jim was born on October 1, 1939 in Haverhill, son of James Anthony Tuccolo, Sr. and Katherine Agnes (Regan) Tuccolo. Jim graduated from Haverhill High and Haverhill Trade Schools, class of 1957. As a sophomore, Jim was a member of the 1955 Haverhill High School State Championship Football Team. He graduated from Newbury College with a degree in Applied Science Management in 1976 and was retired from Polaroid and Emerson College. Jim served in the United States Navy See Bees from September 1957 until being honorably discharged in September of 1963. He was a member of the Haverhill Elks Lodge 165.

Jim devoted his life to his family and friends. His surviving family members include his beloved wife Leslie C. (Mosca) Tuccolo; loving children Jay P. Tuccolo and wife Lisa M. Tuccolo and Leann J. (Tuccolo) LaPointe and husband Michael LaPointe; cherished grandsons Michael A. Tuccolo and Corey P. Tuccolo; sister Mary Ellen (Tuccolo) Goudreault and husband Edward Goudreault and their children Danny and Kathy.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, March 26, in Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Services with U.S. Navy Honors will be held in the funeral home on Monday morning, beginning at 11:00 AM.
