James Samardelis, of Loudon, NH, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. He was born on July 5, 1956, in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital.

James was the beloved husband of Kalliopi Samardis of Loudon, NH. Together they shared 42 wonderful years of marriage and built a life centered around family, love, and friendship.

He is survived by his daughters, Alethea Samardis of Loudon, NH, and Christina Dupont of Milford, NH; and by his son in-law, Derek Dupont. He also leaves behind his brother, Charles Samardis of North Carolina, and sister in-law, Judith Samardis. James was a proud grandfather to his two granddaughters, Mikayla Grace Samardis and Paisley Autumn Samardis, who brought him endless joy. He is also survived by his nieces, Jillian Knights and Jamie Dupuis, as well as his best friend, Walter Gross.

James was a graduate of Whittier Tech, Class of 1975. He later attended Fitchburg State in 1976 and graduated from Lowell University in 1983.

James enjoyed spending time in his yard and loved being with his granddaughters. He will be remembered for his devotion to his family, his friendship, and the love he shared with those around him.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
