NORTH ANDOVER - James Silvio Martinoli, 78, of North Andover died unexpectedly Wednesday, April 2, 2014.

James was born in Pittsfield, MA on January 2, 1936. Son of the late Silvio and Josephine (Mancini) Martinoli. He leaves his loving wife Judith K. (Savage) Martinoli with whom he recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

James was second generation in the building and remodeling industry and former owner of F&S Builders. In his later years, he enjoyed working in his shop building and restoring furniture. James enjoyed painting as one of his favorite activities. Most of all, James will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, his surviving family members include children, James C. Martinoli and wife Angelita of Haverhill, Celeste Bohannon and husband Derek of California, and Lena Thompson of South Carolina; brother, William J. Martinoli of Missouri; seven cherished grandchildren, Anthony, James S. II, Michael Robert, Noah Isaiah, Sarah Allison, Jonathan, and Jasmine; four great-grand children, Aidan, Kasidee, Dominic and Kaylin; brother of the late Robert F. Martinoli.

His funeral will be held Wednesday morning, April 9, beginning in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, (Rte. 125), Bradford at 9:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 So. Main Street, Bradford at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover. Visiting hours will be held Tuesday in the funeral home from 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
