MERRIMACK, NH - Jacquelyn 'Jackie' Chechowitz Healy, 83, of Merrimack, NH passed away, after a brief illness, on October 20, 2023. Jackie was born in Haverhill, MA to Marcella and John Lewis.  She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

Jackie was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Chechowitz, her parents, and her sister, Evelyn. She is survived by her husband, John David Healy; her children from her first marriage, son Timothy, daughter in-law Terri, and grandchildren Zachary and his wife Sarah, and Taylor; daughter Naomi and son in-law Clay and step-grandson Chet; son Luke, daughter in-law Royce, and grandchildren Jacob, Marcella, and Lydia; step-son Michael and his wife Angela and step-grandchildren Leilani, Shayna, and TJ; step-son Shawn and his wife Teresa and step-grandchildren John and Mark; step-daughter Anne and her husband Brian and step-grandchildren Juliana, Luke and Brady; step-daughter Maureen; sister Marilyn; and nieces and nephews.

Jackie graduated from Haverhill High School, Salem School of Nursing, New England College (BS-Psych/Soc, Nursing), Eastern Nazarene College (MEd-Adult Ed), and Oregon Health Sciences University (MS-Nursing).  She had a 50-year long career in nursing, serving as active duty registered nurse, educator, consultant, and director at health care facilities in MA, OR, WA, PA, and NH.

Jackie was a kind, compassionate, and generous individual who loved her family and friends.  Jackie's selfless love touched the hearts of many people, more than she could know, and she will be greatly missed.  She lived by faith and was an active member of various church families throughout her life.  She enjoyed learning and exploring and was passionate about traveling to places that intrigued her, near and far, with a special fondness for New England's ocean beaches.

Multi-Service details include a Memorial Service on Thursday, October 26, in the Merrimack Valley Baptist Church, 517 Boston Post Road, Merrimack, NH at 11:00 AM. Visitation on Saturday, October 28 in West Congregational Church, 767 Broadway, Haverhill, MA from 12:30 to 1:30 PM. Funeral Service beginning at 1:30 PM. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery.
