Obituary

LAWRENCE - Jacqueline T. (Murphy) Bonner, 90, of Lawrence passed away peacefully on April 18, 2018.

Jacqueline was born in Lawrence on October 11, 1927, daughter of Michael and Margaret (Milnes) Murphy. She was raised and educated in Lawrence, graduating from Lawrence High School, class of 1945. Jacqueline then went on to pursue a career in nursing, graduating from St. John's Nursing School, Lowell in 1948. Her dedicated nursing career spanned over many years providing care and help for others. She worked at Mass General Hospital in Boston, Bon Secours Hospital in Methuen, and Honeywell in Waltham. She was also a member of the U.S. Cadet Nurse Corp which was founded during World War II.

One of her many passions was Country Line Dancing, she was a member of the Twosteppers. She was also an avid fan of golfing and skiing. Her family would like to thank all the staff of Merrimack Valley Hospice, Mary Immaculate and Country Manor in Newburyport for their continued care and support they gave to Jacqueline. Jacqueline's surviving family members include her loving daughter Mary Annaldo and husband Ken of Seabrook Beach, NH; several nieces, nephews, and her grand dog Tiki. She was predeceased by her three sisters Margurite Murphy, Ellen Dyer, and Ann Marie Kubara.

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, April 23, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street (Rte. 125), Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial will be private in St. Mary - Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
