HAVERHILL - Ida E. (DiFruscio) Hill, 99, longtime Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 3, 2021.
She was born in Lawrence on September 2, 1922, one of six children of Domenic and Vincenza (Masi) DiFruscio. Ida was the cherished wife of the late Richard F. Hill who passed in 1976.
She loved music and singing and was a very generous and caring person donating to multiple charities. Ida loved and was loved by her entire family and all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Survived by her children Richard Hill and wife Patricia of Wells, ME and Virginia Whittaker and husband Richard of Merrimac; dearest friend Rachel Kurashima and her daughter, also Ida's goddaughter Darbie Kurashima of Haverhill; adored grandchildren Sean Hill, Samuel Hill, Timothy Betty, Cheryl Judge, Cindy Sturgis and Sean Whittaker; great-grandchildren Thomas Betty, Lucas Betty, Seana Whittaker-Williamson, Brooklyn Judge, Barney Judge, Logan Sturgis and Harley Faulkner; great-great-grandchildren Rebel Whittaker Williamson, Stella Faulkner and Nevi Faulkner; brother Mark DiFruscio of Bradford; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews; sister of the late Anne D'Arcangelo, Elizabeth Radulski, Marie Polizzotti and Domenic DiFruscio, Jr.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 7 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Services will follow in the funeral home. Interment in Elmwood Cemetery. For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
