HAVERHILL – Air Force Veteran and retired New England Telephone Lineman Howard H. Toshach, born to Howard Harrison Toshach and wife Alice Murley on August 4, 1934 in Atkinson, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston on January 4, 2022 at the age of 87.

Howard is survived by his wife of 56 years Joan A. Toshach; daughter JoAnn DiFelice and her Husband Christopher DiFelice, grandchildren Nicholas and Sarah Swartz; son Brian Toshach and his wife Vittoria Toshach; sister Ruth Luro and her husband Palmer Luro; preceded in death siblings Leroy Toshach, Norman Toshach, Bernard Toshach, Elwin Toshach, Dottie Brown , Hazel Deamon, Rita Moody, Verna Toshach and Gladys Toshach.

Howard was an avid candlepin bowler in leagues at Pilgrim Lanes and statewide tournaments. He was a lifetime member of both the AMVETS and Elks Lodge. He will be remembered fondly and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
