Helen Jane Busa, 94, of Haverhill, Massachusetts, passed away Tuesday morning peacefully at her home on September 1, 2026, surrounded by her family.

Born in Haverhill, she was the daughter of the late Jane (Amirault) and Frank German. She graduated St. James High School. Helen was the devoted wife of the late Sam Busa, married 65 years.

Helen worked twenty years at AT&T. She valued the simple pleasures in life, especially watching her beloved Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. She enjoyed puzzles like crosswords and jigsaws, and playing cards. She loved to travel, especially to Florida and sailing on cruises. More than anything, Helen adored being surrounded by family. Her home was a place where everyone was welcome, and Sunday dinners were a special tradition. Family and friends could always stop by, even without calling first, and there was always a place at her table.

Helen is survived by her five children Diane and husband Steve Brown of Windham, NH, Jane and husband John DiVincenzo of Haverhill, MA, Carol and husband Jim Jenkins of Seabrook, NH, Pamela and husband Simon Ackerman of Hampstead, NH and Paul Busa of Haverhill, MA. She also leaves eight grandchildren fourteen great-grandchildren; brother Robert German and wife Charlene; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 9:30 to 11:00 AM. Ceremony will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Haverhill. For guestbook, visit www.driscollcares.com
