Obituary

GROVELAND - Harry B. Perkins, 80, of Groveland, formerly of Danville, NH and Kittery Point, ME, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 3, 2019.

Harry was born on January 18, 1939 in Haverhill, son of George and Annie (Brooks) Perkins. He attended Robert W. Traip Academy in Kittery, ME. Harry worked in security for AT&T for many years before his retirement in 1996.

He was a member of the Merrimack Valley Racing Pigeon Club, the Merrimack River Watershed Council and the Essex County Greenbelt Association. Harry was a former member of the New England Farriers Association, the Granite State Appaloosa Association and the Raytheon Guard Association.

Harry was an avid outdoors man who enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing homing pigeons and raising and training Appaloosas, Arabians and Quarterhorses. He is survived by his loving wife Ann L. Jones; daughters Dawn Ann Perkins McCallan and husband Michael McCallan of Shirley, MA, Jennifer Munro and wife Jennifer Bruce of Hampton, NH and Jessica Munro and husband Matthew Schulman of Grey Forest, TX; grandchildren Matthew, Kelsey, Hannah and Camden; sister Karen Ann Perkins Wight; niece Jennifer; nephew Nathan and several aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his parents, Harry is predeceased by his brother in-law Eric Wight.
