MADEIRA BEACH, FL: Harold Evans, 94, formerly of Haverhill, Andover, Newton, NH and Barefoot Bay, FL, passed away on December 4, 2014 at the Palms of Pasadena Hospital in South Pasadena, FL. Harold was the husband of the late Arlene E. (Burba) Evans.

Born in Haverhill on November 9, 1920, he was the son of the late Harry and Sara A. (Chambers) Evans.

Following his graduation from Haverhill High School, Class of 1938, Harold began a long and distinguished finance career that spanned thirty-five years. He worked as an auditor for Dunlop Tires, and as Accounting Manager for the former Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent before retiring in 1982. Harold was a member of the Trinity Episcopal Church of Haverhill, Loyal Order of Moose, Sabastian River, FL, Lodge #1767, and Legion #197.

Harold is survived by his daughter, Patricia Evans White and her husband Robert of Boston, MA; brother-in-law and his wife, Ronald & Annette Burba of Salem, NH. Several nieces and nephews to include Sandra Szczerbin and her partner Leslie Voegtly of Patterson, CA, Roanne and Stephen Copley and family of Windham, NH; Veronica Burba of MA; Ms. Robin Landers & family; Randi and Allan ll McQuarrie & family; Ms. Renee Burba, all from Salem, NH; Rachelle & Joseph Michalowski & Ian Clark of Florida; and Russell Burba of MA. He was the brother of the late Charles Elmer Harry "Chink" Evans, and Arthur Glenn Denning Evans.

Interment at the Lithuanian Cemetery in Haverhill will be private. Donations in Harold's name may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O.
