HAVERHILL - Gina Allen, 52, of Bradford, MA passed away peacefully on February 1, 2022, with her loving family and friends by her side.

Gina was born in Everett, MA in May of 1969, and was the daughter of Phyllis and Vincent Micciche. She was raised in Melrose along with her brother Vin, and after graduating from Melrose High School in 1988, she went on to become a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist. She began her career as a traveling OT and would cheerfully talk of her time spent caring for the elderly, especially when she lived in Florida. After taking time to raise her family, she later resumed her career within the Haverhill public school system supporting the needs of school aged children.

In 1999, she met the love of her life and best friend, Tom, and they wed in 2002, going on to have two children, Marisa and Hannah. Her daughters truly meant the world to her. Her legacy of caring and loving ways will live on through them and she will look down upon them and guide them always.

Gina had a heart of gold and was a woman of uncommon strength and spirit. Her friends and family will remember her as the best soccer mom ever who traveled as far as London, England to be sure she never missed a moment of a game.  Gina was a generous gift giver who always took the time to make any moment a special occasion, an amazing cook and entertainer, a beach lover who enjoyed traveling, an exceptional and caring mother, wife, daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend. Gina was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Gina is survived by her husband Thomas and two daughters Marisa and Hannah, her parents Vincent and Phyllis Micciche, her brother Vincent Jr., and his wife Marianne, many nieces and nephews, as well as her husband's family whom she loved like her own.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 6, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 S. Main Street, Haverhill at 10:00 AM. Please meet directly at church. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Newburyport.
