FREMONT, NH: Gary L. Arsenault, 71, passed away March 5, 2017 at Exeter Hospital. He was the wife of the late Lucille Arsenault.

Gary was born on September 27, 1945 in Rumford, ME. He graduated from Buckfield High School, Class of 1964, and pitched on the school's baseball team. Following graduation he entered the U.S. Army and was stationed in Heidelberg, Germany before his discharge in 1971 with the rank of Sp4.

Gary worked thirty-one years as a custodian for the Haverhill School Department at both the Caleb Hunking and Albert Consentino Schools before retiring in 2003.

Gary was a member of the Veterans of Foreign War in Epping, NH. He was an avid sports fan, and faithfully followed all New England teams.

Gary is survived by his sons, Gary Arsenault and his wife Alexis of Pensacola, FL, Mark Arsenault and his wife Tammy of Wakefield, NH; granddaughter, Madison Arsenault; brothers, Richard Arsenault and his wife Marolyn of Everett, WA, John Healy of Raymond, NH; sister, Shelby Nichols and her husband Dennis of Jay, ME, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Thursday, March 9th, at 5:00 p.m. at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Calling hours will precede the service from 4:00 to 4:45 p.m. Interment at Southern Maine Veteran's Cemetery will be private.
