HAVERHILL: Gail P. (Hubka) Pierce, 50, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, surrounded by her family at the Holy Family Hospital.

Gail was born in Lawrence, MA, and grew up in East Kingston, NH. She attended and graduated from schools in East Kingston, and Exeter High School. After working as a waitress she worked for several years at Raytheon in West Andover, MA. Her main interest was working with people, so she then took a job with Volt, an employee recruiting company in Woburn, MA, where she finally found her niche.

Gail leaves behind her loving husband Dean Pierce; her brother, James Hubka of Danville, NH; her mother, Patricia Woods of Haverhill; her father, Lawrence Hubka and his wife Elizabeth of Plaistow, NH; cousins, aunts, uncles, and a host of personal friends.

She had a bubbling personality, was cheerful, and always willing to help. Even so, she was tender-hearted and a friend to every animal or bird that crossed her path. Gail was a daughter every family would love to have.

All friends and family are invited to call at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill on Sunday, March 17th from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Monday, March 18th, at 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 217 Main Street, Haverhill.
