HAVERHILL - Fred Ronald Wheaton, 68, of Haverhill passed away on October 11, 2015, at his home in Haverhill.

Fred was born and raised in Newburyport to Fred and Mary Wheaton. He resided in Revere for a number of years before settling in Haverhill. Fred loved fishing and spending his days sitting outside his home conversing with neighbors and locals. Everyone knows Fred as a kind and friendly man who would do anything for anyone, to know Fred was to love him.

His surviving family members include his loving daughter Moriah Lucy and husband Tom of Newburyport; grandchildren Carolyn and Carl Lucy; sisters Brenda "Beana" Hersey of Salisbury and Beverly Canepa of Dover, NH; brother of the late Robert Wheaton; also leaves behind extended family Chris Bailey, Kelly Malone and their son Cody Bailey of Haverhill; and six nieces and nephews and countless friends.

Visitation will be held Thursday, October 15, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street (Rte. 125), Haverhill from 4:00 to 7:00 PM.
