HAVERHILL - Francis (Pete) Henry LaBranche, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, December 23, 2014.

He was born in Haverhill on May 23, 1927. He was one of four children of the late Joseph and Dorothea (Strauch) LaBranche and was a graduate of Haverhill High School.

He was the devoted husband of Lorraine (Cote) LaBranche for 66 years.

His surviving family members, in addition to his wife include his loving children, Dr. Francis H. LaBranche, Jr. of Northfield, NH, Stephen R. LaBranche of Hampton Beach, NH, Alan D. LaBranche and wife Deborah of Amesbury and Susan M. (LaBranche) Adam and her husband Raymond of Bradford; grandchildren, David Alartosky, Laura Alartosky, Nicole LaBranche, Douglas LaBranche; one great-grandchild; brother, Dr. Victor LaBranche of Haverhill; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate his life will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 in Holy Family Parish, Amesbury at 10:30 AM.
