METHUEN: Florence M. (Lambert) Burke, 87, formerly of Ward Hill, died Friday evening at the Nevins Rehabilitation Center in Methuen. Mrs. Burke was the wife of the late Robert F. Burke.

Born in Haverhill July 31, 1920, Mrs. Burke was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mabel (Lougee) Lambert.

Mrs. Burke graduated from Haverhill High School class of 1939, and continued her education at St. Joseph's Hospital School of Nursing in Nashua, NH. She was a member of Sacred Hearts Church, and enjoyed bowling with friends in various leagues at Academy Lanes. While a resident at Nevins she was Queen Mother of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed bingo with her friends.

She is survived by her daughters Patricia B. Rawding and husband Brian of Haverhill, Pamela A. Terroux and husband Paul of Ward Hill, Paula J. Bouchard and her life partner Dora Bouchard of Salem, NH; eight grandchildren; ten great grandchildren, and one great great granddaughter.

Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral Wednesday 9: 30 a.m. at Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill followed by a 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at Sacred Hearts Church. Calling hours Tuesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery.
