HAVERHILL - Emanuele P. "Manny" DiMattia, 85, lifelong Haverhill resident, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the Penacook Place Nursing Home. He was born in Haverhill on December 15, 1931, son of the late Vittorino and Elisa (DiBartolomeo) DiMattia. Manny was a proud Veteran having served in the U.S. Army in Panama at the Panama Canal. He worked for many years at GARE, Inc. of Haverhill until retirement at the age of 73.

His surviving family members include his sister in-law Gloria DiMattia of Haverhill; niece and several nephews; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews and cousins. Manny's deceased siblings are Philip, Joseph and Philomena.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 22 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill, followed by Catholic Funeral Rites offered graveside at St. Patrick Cemetery, North Broadway, Haverhill. For online guestbook, please visit www.driscollcares.com
