GROVELAND - Elizabeth E. (Bryant) Howard, 81, of Groveland and formerly of Lynn passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Wednesday, May 9, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill.

Betty was born in Lynn on February 8, 1931. Raised in Saugus by George and Bella Bryant. Educated in Saugus schools and graduate of Saugus High School, class of 1948.

Betty is the wife of the late William Howard.

Her surviving family members include her loving children, William Howard and his wife Linda of Barrington, NH, Susan Burns and her husband Robert of Groveland, Deborah Diaz and her husband Ismael of Lynn, Katherine Diaz and her husband Angel of Raymond, NH and David Howard of Lynn; grandchildren, Melissa, Kelly, Diana, Angela, Priscilla, Vanessa, Caitlyn, Christian, Cameron, Michael, Jeannette Tracey and her husband John, Rafael Diaz and his wife Doraima, Ismael, David and Sean; great-grandchildren, Isaiah, Elizabeth, Griffin, Hunter, Ariana, Gabriel, Isabella, Robert and Tyler; mother of the late Cynthia Howard.

Visiting hours will be held Monday, May 14, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street (Rte. 125), Bradford, from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment will be private.
