HAVERHILL: Elizabeth A. "Betty"(deBedoire) Borden, 88, passed away on February 23, 2016 with her children at her side. Mrs. Borden was the wife of the late Fire Lieutenant Carroll N. Borden to whom she was married for fifty-eight years.

Born in Shanghai, China on April 19, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Knute and Ludmila (Evdokimoff) deBedoire.

Betty will be greatly missed by her children, Leslie Borden, Eric Borden and his wife Dorothy, Elizabeth Borden, and Matthew Borden; grandchildren, Eric M. Borden, Ashley Borden, Jeffrey Borden, and four great grandchildren.

Private funeral arrangements will be under the direction of Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main Street, Haverhill. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
