CHELMSFORD - Eleanor "Ellen" (Sharkey) A. Green, 74, Chelmsford, peacefully passed away February 16, 2017, surrounded by family at Merrimack Valley Hospice, Haverhill.

Ellen was a military wife, after graduating high school in NJ. She moved often with her family, until earning her paralegal degree at Middlesex Community College.

She enjoyed her time in their South Carolina farm home, New Jersey, and for last 30 years in Massachusetts. Ellen truly enjoyed cooking, canning, gardening, listening to her favorite music (Yanni, Kenny Rogers, Anne Murray), watching "Days of Our Lives," the cooking channel, crocheting, and adoring her grandchildren. Ellen was also an experienced and very talented artist, gifting many with her work.

Ellen is survived by loving children, Trish Graves Shaw and husband Woody Shaw of Haverhill, Glen Green of Chelmsford, Brian Green and wife Samantha of Worcester; precious grandchildren, Angela Smith, Ashley Yaghijan, Brandon Yaghjian and husband Kevin, Steven Key and wife Julia, William Key, Jennifer Shaw, Chris Shaw, Kevin Shaw, Logan Green, Zander Green, Isis Green, Koi Green and Benjamin Green; great-grandchildren Eddie and Joseph Yaghjian; predeceased by husband Dewey Green; children, Pam Key and husband Wayne Key, Barbara Yaghjian and John Graves; and former husband Bill Graves.

Memorial Service will take place on Sunday, February 26 in the First Baptist Church, 1580 Massachusetts Ave., Lexington at 2:00 PM. Luncheon will follow the service at the Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Following the luncheon Celebration of Ellen's Life will continue at her daughter Trish's home at 114 Chestnut Street, Haverhill, all are welcomed.
