HAVERHILL - Eleanor M. Peters, 90, of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 10, 2017, in Haverhill.

She was born on February 13, 1927. She was raised in Chelsea and has been a resident of Haverhill for many decades. She was employed at the Hale Hospital as a nurse until her retirement. Eleanor was a woman of deep faith and longtime parishioner of All Saints Parish. After visiting Portugal, she became a supporter of over 30 years of the Blue Army of Fatima. She also served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. John the Baptist Parish for many years.

Eleanor's surviving family members included her loving children Oliver David of Haverhill, Robert David of Haverhill, Beverly Nichols of SD, Anne Ray of IL, Susan David of Newburyport, Theresa David of Haverhill and Nancy David Russell of Derry, NH; niece Sandra Peters of Nashua, NH; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives and friends; mother of the late Mary Ann Prescott, Karen Saylor and Paul David; she will be greatly missed.

Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 13 in All Saints Church, 120 Bellevue Avenue, Haverhill at 1:30 PM.
