HAVERHILL - Elaine Morrow, 79, a lifelong resident of Haverhill, passed away peacefully in her home, Saturday, November 22, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 14, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Dora (Legault) Cerasuolo. She was educated in the Haverhill School System. Elaine retired as a state employee, but continued her love of caring for others by continuing to work at the Lakeview House Nursing Home for several more years. She was a Past President of the Amvets Auxiliary, Post 147, Haverhill.

Elaine was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was well loved by everyone who knew her. She gave freely to those around her; including hosting an annual Super Bowl party for the residents of the nursing home where she worked for many years. She continued this tradition even after her retirement from there. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching soap operas and the occasional card night with family and bingo with her friends. She always looked forward to her annual trip to Atlantic City with her daughter Dee. However, her greatest joy was spending time with family. She was affectionately called "Nana" by all who knew her, which was quite fitting since she treated everyone she met like family.

Elaine was the loving wife of 47 years to the late William C. Morrow, Jr. Her surviving members include her beloved three children, Doreen Plourde and husband Daniel, Del Morrow and wife Donna and Donna Mitchell and Gary; eight grandchildren, Jamie Madden and husband Jonah, Jessica, Jason and Daniel Jr. Plourde, Krystal Carlson and her husband Chris, Tyler and Paige Morrow, and Randi Mitchell; five great-grandchildren, Devin, Justin, Lexie, Aiden and Colin; sister Betty Ciardiello and husband Ernie; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 29 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. Services will begin at 4:00 PM.
