STONEHAM - Durandina "Dina" Sarmento, 84 of Stoneham, passed away suddenly on December 11, 2015.

Mother of Nina Chaffai and her husband Ali, Joe Sarmento and his wife Collette, Fernando Sarmento and Manuel Sarmento. Daughter of the late Manuel Adriano and Leonor DaCosta. Grandmother of Desiree, Omar, Jaclyn, Joe, Victoria and Anna. Great Grandmother of Chloe, Julien and Jolina. Sister of Leonor Paula, Odete Amaral, Manuela Bitto, Fernando Adriano, Escolastica Commers, Elsa Adriano, Manuel Adriano and the late Maria Cardoso.

Dina enjoyed music, playing bingo and most of all, spending time with her children and family. She also looked forward to her weekly visits from her sister Leonor who she was very close to. She will always be loved and remembered.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, December 19, 2015 in Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
