RAYMOND, NH - Doris Ray Pierce, 81, of Raymond, NH passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 28, 2014.

Doris was born in Providence, RI on September 18, 1932, daughter of the late Ray and Ida (Dubuque) Chappell. She is also preceded in death by her sister and brother in-law Miriam and Ray Cute. Doris was a caring and supportive mother who enjoyed her crafting and also beautiful needlepoint. She was a compassionate, outgoing person always willing to lend a hand and always direct and to the point. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

She is survived by her loving sons, Paul Pierce and wife Margie, and Alan Pierce and wife Chris; granddaughter, Alyson and her husband Ed Dellget; great-grandson Tristen Gilson; grandson, Shawn Bernier; great-granddaughter Zoe Bernier; nephews, Scott and his wife Jane, David and Clark Cute.

Memorial service will be privately held for the immediate family.
