It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Rae Wiley (White), 60, of Haverhill, Massachusetts, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, who left this world, on August 29, 2026. Donna passed away surrounded by her devoted husband, children and sister after a brief, but fierce battle with cancer in Haverhill High Pointe House. Her strength and warmth will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. A celebration of life ceremony to be announced at a later date.

Born in Manhattan, New York on May 11, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Norman Rae White and Brenda Jean White. She was also predeceased by her grandmother, Pauline Costellano, who was exceptionally close with her. Donna shared a special bond with her family and leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family members: her husband of 41 years Gary Keith Wiley, Jr.; her children, Amber Nicole Wiley and Brandon James Wiley; her lively granddaughter Aria Jean Wiley; and her siblings Dana White, Darlene Lee, Dianna Hatfield, and Norman White. She is also fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Danielle, David, Paige, Norman, Matthew, Kelsey, Emily, Lauren and Mikenzi, along with their children.

Donna’s journey of love began when she married her High school sweetheart, Gary. Their union spanning over four decades, beginning in Elyria, Ohio through Tampa to Chicago to finally their forever home in Massachusetts, was a testament to enduring love and partnership. Together, they built a family of laughter, adventure, and countless cherished memories.

A dedicated nurse, Donna’s career spanned over 25 years. She started her professional journey after obtaining an Associate’s degree in nursing from Northern Essex Community College, followed by a Bachelor’s degree in nursing from WGU in 2020. Her career took her from Pentucket Medical in Newburyport, Ma, Lahey in Amesbury, Ma and finally Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Ma, working on the telemetry unit. Donna was not only known for her exceptional care and dedication, but also for her ability to lighten the night shift with her infectious stories and laughter. Making lifelong friend Dawn Munoz along the way.

Outside of her professional life, Donna was a vivacious spirit who lived life to the fullest. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life: beach outings, scenic drives to Maine with her husband and later with her sister, Dianna, and memorable girl trips with her daughter, granddaughter and honorary granddaughter, Michaela. She looked forward to visits with her son to learn new and exciting details about spiders and other wildlife; what species he was raising and if he could get her any unique butterflies or moths. She treasured visits to Ohio to see family and sisterly adventures to Florida. She and her sisters shared a rare, unbreakable bond and love for one another. Donna became a sort of grandma to her daughter’s friend’s children and her granddaughter’s friends. She was not only Aria’s Gigi, but Gigi to them all.

Donna had a knack for making any occasion a reason to celebrate, being the life of the party and a constant source of support and joy for those around her. She had a love for music and could always be found singing and dancing. Her love of music spread beyond one single genre; she loved everything from Tupac, Pat Benetar to Jellyroll.

As we remember Donna, let us celebrate her life filled with warmth, kindness, authenticity, laughter and unwavering strength. Her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who loved her.

Celebration of Donna's Life will be held on Saturday, November 14, in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 S. Main Street, Haverhill from 12:00 to 3:00 PM. In honor of her love for children, nature and animals, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to the World Wildlife Fund or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, organizations close to Donna’s heart.
