Beloved Donna June Edgerly DiGennaro passed away peacefully at Portsmouth Regional Hospital on the last day of April, 2026, surrounded by family and friends. She was 87 years young and still had her dark hair.

She was a teacher at Pollard Elementary School for many years, riding her automatic, Suzuki 450 on good weather days. She was known as Mrs. Di. Good parents wanted their kids in her room because they knew she worked made them work hard.

She loved to travel with her soulmate, Dennis - husband of 65 years. She was also an avid baker; almost famous for her Whoopie pies, cookies and birthday cakes. She loved to sew and made many treasured gifts. Her love for her family came second only to her love for God and her savior Christ Jesus. She will be dearly missed.

She leaves behind, husband Dennis DiGennaro, two lovely daughters, DonnaLyn Thayer and Darcy Randall, 2 sons-in- law, Geoffrey Thayer and Phillip Randall, 5 grandchildren Taylor Randall, Molly Randal, Morgan and husband Chris Riley, Mitchell Thayer and Natalie Thayer and 1 great granddaughter, Adalyn Riley, as wells her 2 sisters Barbara DeBartelomeo and Connie Scates. She was pre-deceased by sister Marcia Duchemin.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 30, in the First Baptist Church, 217 Main Street, Haverhill, beginning at 11:00 AM. Donations can be made in her name to the First Baptist Church of Haverhill. Arrangements made by Driscoll Funeral Home, for guestbook visit www.driscollcares.com
