LAWRENCE - Donald F. Donohue, 77, lifelong resident of Lawrence passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 26, 2017 at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center, Brighton.

Donald was born in Lawrence on October 25, 1939, son of late John J. Donohue, Sr. and Ina (Bissett) Donohue. He attended Lawrence schools and was employed by the Lawrence DPW for many years until his retirement.

He was an avid Boston sports fan and loved the Patriots. Donald was a kind and loving man and will be greatly missed.

His loving family members include his children Sean Donohue of Berlin, MA, Kelly Rivard and husband Brian of Danville, NH and Jaqueline Clark and husband Charles of Danville, NH; siblings Janice Mallette of Haverhill and William Donohue and wife Maureen of Andover; nine grandchildren; father of the late Cheryl Donohue and Brien Donohue; brother of the late John J. Donohue, Jr.; many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held Saturday afternoon, March 4 in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Haverhill from 1:00 to 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice in Donald's memory. For online guestbook, please visit www.driscollcares.com
